General Public Session

You can visit the pool without pre-booking but this will be subject to availability on the day for that swim session. To avoid disappointment and guarantee yourself a swim you can book in advance using the online booking system which is located on the front page.

We only accept electronic card payment for entrance fees and other purchases at the pool cafe.

No refunds will be given for cancellations.

Ingleton Swimming Membership

This is available to everyone (locals and visitors, juniors, adults and families) who wish to join Ingleton Swimming Pool for the summer season.

Membership entitles you to discounted ticket prices to General Public swim sessions and other offerings such as Adult Lane swimming.  Adult members can also join us at any of the Adult Members Only swim sessions.

When you become a member of Ingleton Swimming Pool you will be issued with a password which if you book via the online booking system,  you will be asked to enter.  This will take you to the member discounted ticket prices and swim sessions.  If you just decide to arrive at the pool you will still get the member discounted ticket prices – just tell them at the office.

Membership Prices

Ingleton Swimming Pool membership lasts for one summer season and the charges are:

  • Membership - Junior (Under 16 years)

    £25.00

  • Membership - Adult (16+ years)

    £30.00

  • Membership - Family (2 Adults and up to 3 Children)

    £60.00

After purchasing membership, each subsequent swim during the season is reduced and will cost:

  • Member - Junior ticket

    £4.50 – rather than £5.50 for non-members

  • Member - Adult ticket

    £5.50 – rather than £7.50 for non-members

You can become a member for the summer season via our online system which is located at the foot of the Opening Times page.  You can also take out membership at the pool when you visit.

ADULT MEMBER ONLY sessions:

These can only be used by Adult Members of Ingleton Swimming Pool.

The kiosk for these sessions is often staffed by volunteers. Occasionally these session may be subject to cancellation if a volunteer or lifeguard are not available. If you would like to become a volunteer at the pool then please contact us as we are always in need of help.

Private Pool Hire

We welcome Private Pool Hire of our facilities for parties, functions, club events, school trips and other such occasions.

Prices for the 2026 summer season for private pool hire are listed below.

  • £150.00 per hour

    for local groups up to 25 swimmers including 1 lifeguard

  • £200.00 per hour

    for local groups between 26 and 50 swimmers including 2 lifeguards

  • £200.00 per hour

    for standard groups up to 25 swimmers including 1 lifeguard

  • £250.00 per hour

    for standard groups between 26 and 50 including 2 lifeguards

For Pool Private Hire bookings, we can only accept bookings via a completed booking form.  If you would like a form, please email management.ingletonpool@gmail.com for more information and if you would like to be sent a form.  

Local booking charges for Private Pool Hire are applicable to groups and organisations affiliated to Ingleton Rural Community Association (IRCA) and residents who live in the catchment area whose approximate boundary covers the areas of Ingleton, Bentham, Mewith, Keasden, Clapham, Thornton-in-Lonsdale, Burton-in-Lonsdale and Chapel-le-Dale.

Lifeguards are compulsory for Private Pool Hire and the cost of these is included in the booking fee.

One lifeguard will be provided for up to 25 swimmers and two lifeguards are provided for between 26 and 50 swimmers.

Please Note: You must be out of the swimming pool and getting changed at least 5 minutes before the end of a private hire period as there may be other swim sessions scheduled to follow a the booking.
